LIMITED SUPPLY: From the Witches of Pendle Kitchen Witch Doll Collection - GERTRUDE in Cream colour Witch. Realistic, Hand Crafted Porcelain Collectors Doll. Gertrude the Cream Witch has a porcelain head ( fired at 1260 degrees ) and a very friendly face. She reminds us of Grandma! 100% Cotton Body. Polyester/Cotton fibre filling. Gertrude wears a Cream muslin dress, with Teal green underskirt. Her green apron is trimmed with lace, and around her shoulders she wears a coordinating scarf. In her rattan bag she carries an assortment of Summer flowers which she has just been collecting from the garden. Her hair is coarse and the colour of straw. In her left hand she holds her broomstick made of twigs. We don't think that Gertrude does much flying now, she uses her broom to clear away the leaves when she is tidying up the garden. She lets the younger Witches do all the flying these days. As a mature lady she prefers a much more gentle lifestyle. She stands about 19 inches tall. She is one of a large number of kitchen witch dolls from the Witches of Pendle Collection. She is free standing, supported by a wired underskirt. Other witches in this series can be displayed either free standing, hanging or sitting, so don't forget to take a look at the rest of the collection. NB These items are Collectors Dolls, and not designed to be used as a toy.
